    • Owls are predators; they hunt other animals, but nothing eats them.
    • They hunt at night, so you will have to come out after dark to see them.
    • Small mammals such as mice and voles are their favourite food, but they also eat small birds, lizards, bats, and perhaps hawk moths for pudding as a special treat! Owls are carnivores.
